UCI MTB World Cup – Mont Sainte-Anne

I was really looking forward to this competition. Last year my result at this race was the best of the whole season. It was just such a great adventure being the first time on the other globe site. I finished my education in July as well. So, can now focus on training and competing. Therefore, I had huge expectation when staying at the start line. Everything seemed to fit fine. I managed the technical racetrack quit good and had high and realistic goals to achieve. I was motivated and I was ready.  After start I realized soon, that I was not. Then after the first big lap, I got massive back pain as well. I couldn‘t believe it. I thought these problems were solved. They were not.  I kept going and tried to stay positive. „Give all you have, keep going, suffer till the end Ramona! “. The 15th place was absolutely not, what I expected. Now I have to get new motivation and prepare myself well for the next worldcup in La Bresse.
