Proffix Swiss Bike Cup – Gränichen

On Saturday, after my English exam, I traveled directly to Gränichen. There on Sunday I started as a U23 rider together with the elite women. The weather was very warm and the air was dry. The technical and varied race course leads proverbial over rough and smooth. Through the dusty gravel pits, over small jumps, around numerous serpentines and curves. A lot of drinking was announced! The starting signal felt and the big and strong ladies’ field started to move. Unfortunately, I was pushed into fences, in which my handlebar gets stuck. The result was a tilted handlebar, which I had to adjust during the following downhill. This cost me valuable time and also some ranks. I picked up some positons, but my head was not as motivated as my legs. In order to achieve the goals, both are very important. I finally finished the competition in rank 27. Now it is essential to keep a cool head and to focus on the next important issues.
