Argovia Cup Langendorf – To brake or not to brake that is the question

For me it has been the first muddy race this year. Rain, rain and rain. Exactly how I like it. Slippery, wet and muddy, I missed these kind of races. Although the temperature has been quite low, I was really looking forward to this competition. It has been the last qualification race for European- and World Championships. Perfect conditions for me to reach a good result. Unfortunately, the technology thwarted my plans.

After a good start, I slowly found my rhythm. I had good legs and it made so much fun racing with these conditions. Wet roots, deep puddles of water, muddy trails. Athlete for athlete overtook me. After crossing the finish line I figured out that the brake shoe of the front brake has remained completely outside and no longer went back. This constantly touched the brake disc and therefore braked continuously. What a pity! I felt fit and definitely wanted to show what I am able to. I crossed the finish line as……

This Thursday I already take part at the next event. It is time for the Enduro Team in Davos. Three days of shredding Trails as fast as possible together with my sister. I am really looking forward to this one.
