UCI Mountain Bike World Cup – Lenzerheide

I travelled to Lenzerheide directly after the Worldcup in Andorra. My family and I stayed the whole week in the PRIVÀ Alpine Lodge Lenzerheide. The weather was absolutely beautiful and I really enjoyed these days in the Swiss mountains. I trained on the amazing racetrack, went swimming in the Heidsee, cooked and enjoyed the wonderful view from the Parpaner Rothorn. The racetrack in Lenzerheide is a really hard and technical one. You almost can’t recover yourself because there is no long up- and downhill. Again and again there are some short ups and downs and there are many shallow and rooted passages. On Sunday at 08.30 am it was so far. I started very fast and smart with number 53. After this quick start I needed some time to find my pace and finally reached the finish line on the 32nd rank. I’m pretty satisfied with my performance but not with the ranking. My next and therefore sixth race in a row takes place on Sunday. I am really looking forward to the Swiss Championship in Montsevelier.
